LOVEBUG & ME COVID-19 HEALTH AND SAFETY GUIDELINES:

Wellness Policy – If you, your child, or any members of your household are currently sick or are experiencing (or have experienced) symptoms related to COVID-10 (see list below) within the last 14 days, we ask that you please stay home, and schedule an online Makeup Class via our website. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding in this matter. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19:

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea

Temperature Checks – We recommend the host coordinate temperatures checks of each participant prior to class. Any child or parent with a fever of 100.4 degrees or over will be asked to please go home and schedule an online Make Up Class.

Masks – Magical Musical Educators, parents/caregivers and kids ages 2 and up will be required to wear face masks for the duration of class. Masks are the responsibility of the clients and need to be worn over the nose and mouth at all times.

Social Distancing –  All adults and children must strictly comply with physical distancing measures, including: maintaining 8-10 feet or more of distance between individuals from different households and this includes kids/students of all ages. Hosts/Parents/Caregivers must ensure the outdoor location has enough space for all to social distance. Singing requires more distance than the standard 6 feet of distance.

Sanitizing of Instruments – Our Magical Musical Educators will clean & sanitize instruments and props used in class. To increase our health & safety measures, each family will use their own designated instruments. Please do not allow any sharing of instruments, props or any other class materials.

Blankets – We are asking that all families bring their own blanket or sheet to sit on outdoor private classes. Blankets are to be set up a minimum of 8-10 feet apart from edge to edge.

Hand Sanitizer – Our Magical Musical Educators will have hand sanitizer available. We recommend parents/caregivers to administer to their child upon arrival/leaving, and after bathroom breaks.

Gloves – Magical Musical Educators will wear gloves when distributing any class materials.

Outdoor Private Classes – Private classes are currently only permitted outdoors. Hosts must ensure the outdoor location has enough space for all to social distance. Any frequently touched surfaces like door handles, light switches, sink handles, bathroom surfaces, tables etc.. that students, parents, caregivers or teachers may come in contact with must have elevated cleaning practices.

Promote Healthy Hygiene Practices – Please wash your hands and your child’s hands frequently with soap and warm water. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth. Cover coughs and sneezes using your arm rather than your hand.

*If at any point, our Magical Music Educator feels they are unsafe or that precautions and guidelines are not being followed, they will be allowed to end class and all fees will be forfeited.

*There will be no refunds within two weeks of the class start date. Any missed classes may be made up online before the end of the series.
